Welcome to Paul Furniss to lead the Bridge City Jazz Band on soprano sax at Club Ashfield this coming Friday night 5th March 2021.... music starts at 7.30pm through to 10.30pm. On piano is Gary Walford with Stan Valacos on double bass with our regular bass player away & "Mr. Smoothie", Lawrie Thompson on drums.... they join the BCJB regulars Jack Wiard on reeds, Mike Hallam on trombone & myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...
Still no dancing but a great night for listening to super traditional jazz......
Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
