Power lead the Bridge City Jazz Band on cornet with Bradley Newman on
the Club's grand piano, Jim Morrell on drums and with me away in Europe celebrating Judy & my 5oth wedding anniversary, Gordon Brown is on banjo....they join the
Bridge City JB regulars, Mike Hallam on trombone, Colin Beal on reeds,
Colin Davies on double bass ....
Future special guests with the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield and other BCJB future gigs...
Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway
station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in
the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant
serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
Al Davey is a great trumpet player as well as trombonist...you often see him at Club Ashfield
playing trombone for us when Mike Hallam is away leading his own band
somewhere....we've got Al leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on trumpet
this coming Friday 16th August 2019 with Gary Walford on the Club's
grand piano and Graham Hilgendorf is on our drumkit, ...they join the Bridge City
