Jazz with the Bridge City Jazz Band .....This coming Friday 2nd April 2021 is GOOD FRIDAY as part of EASTER & Club Ashfield is always closed on Good Friday, So NO JAZZ... back again on Fri. 09.04.2021

 With this coming Friday 2nd April 2021 being GOOD FRIDAY, Club Ashfield is always closed for 24 hours as a Club, hence there is NO JAZZ...

But we'll be back again on Friday 9th April 2021....

 The following Friday see's Paul Furniss on soprano sax lead with Peter Locke on piano & Jim Morrell on drums...

Club Ashfield open again for Trad. Jazz with the Bridge City Jazz Band this Friday 26th March 2021... as the usual 7 piece format, with special guests for the night.... leading on trumpet is Greg Englert with Carolyn Packer on the Club's grand piano & Jimmy Fletcher on the bands drum kit....

 Greg Englert is leading the Bridge city Jazz Band at Club Ashfield this coming Friday 26th March 2021 & he's a super Louis Armstrong fan as is the bands trombone player Mike Hallam... other special guests for the night are Carolyn Packer on piano and Jimmy Fletcher on drums..... they join the Bridge City JB regulars... Mike Hallam on trombone, Jack Wiard on reeds, Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo.... shaping up for a great night of traditional jazz.... still no dancing or sit-ins...

 

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
