Furniss will lead off the forthcoming night at Club Ashfield on Friday 5th April 2019 with pianist Bradley Newman on the
Club's grand piano, and a first for us, featuring Laura Power on reeds with Joel Davis on drums... all in the band with Bridge
City regulars .. Colin Davies double bass, Mike Hallam on trombone.. and myself
Dennis Quinlan on banjo...
Sure to be some clarinet duets.....

Mike Hallam moves on to trumpet lead for this coming Bridge City Jazz Band gig at Club Ashfield on Friday 29th March 2019, Robbie Mann on piano, Geoff Power on trombone and Cy Donkin on drums....and with our regular reed player away we've Pam Withnall filling that seat....

Al Davey is a great trumpet player as well as trombonist...you often see him at Club Ashfield
playing trombone for us when Mike Hallam is away leading his own band
somewhere....we've got Al leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on trumpet
this coming Friday 22nd March 2018 with Gordon Brown on the Club's
grand piano and Graham Hilgendorf is on our drumkit, with Colin Beal away we've Jack Wiard on reeds...they join the Bridge City

Jack Wiard has played with the Bridge City Jazz Band here at Club Ashfield in the past as a replacement for our reed player when he is elsewhere but this coming Friday 15th March 2019 Jack is with us as lead on soprano sax with Gary Walford on the piano and Craig Lee on drums....
They join the BCJB regulars...Mike Hallam on trombone, Colin Beal on reeds, Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on drums....
Jack, a member of the well known "Licorice Allsorts" jazz band always has a great repertoire so it's shaping up to a super evening of traditional jazz...
