Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 29th June 2018 sees "The bouncing Czech", Jiri Kripac back with us leading on trumpet, Brad Newman on the Club's grand piano, Al Davey on trombone & Chris Gentle on drums....

Its the "Bouncin' Czech" back with us this coming Friday 29th June 2018 at Club Ashfield...Jiri Kripac is on cornet lead, Brad Newman on the Club's grand piano and Chris Gentle  on the band drumkit and Al Davey on trombone...they join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars.... Colin Beal on reeds, Colin Davies on double bass and Dennis Quinlan on banjo....
A night of trad. jazz for dancing and listening....

Welcome back to a youthful James Power taking the lead with the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield this coming Friday 22nd June 2018 with his brother, Michael Power on trombone...Gary Walford is on the Club's grand piano and Chris Gentle is manning the drum stool, they join the BCJB regulars Colin Beal, reeds..Colin Davies, double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo....
A great night of traditional jazz is assured....

Bruce Johnson is our trumpet lead for the night at Club Ashfield....welcome Bruce, with Monique Lysiak on the Club's grand piano, Geoff Power  on trombone, and  Al Davey on drums....together with the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars Colin Davies on double bass, myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo,  and  Colin Beal on alto sax and clarinet.
All we need is your good selves and the night will be a swinging one of traditional jazz....

Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 8th June 2018 sees a great line-up with Dave Ridyard on soprano sax lead presenting another of his "Celebration of 1920's Jazz", with Brad Newman on piano, Al Davey on trombone, Rod Herbert on Sousaphone and Jim Morrell on drums...

This coming Friday 8th June 2018 at Club Ashfield, we've Dave Ridyard leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on soprano saxophone featuring another of his "Celebration of 1920's Jazz"...Brad Newman's on the Club's grand piano, Jim Morrell on drums Rod Herbert on sousaphone  and Al Davey on trombone- .....linking up with the Bridge City JB regulars.... Colin Beal on reeds and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo.........
