 Well Club Ashfield re-opens for Jazz on Friday  4th February 2022.... Leading the band is Al Davey on trumpet lead with Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano, and Graham Hilgendorf on the bands drum kit .....

They join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars.... Mike Hallam on trombone, Jack Wiard on reeds, Colin Davies on double Bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

After another of no jazz it will be a great night of traditional jazz....

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....

And Closed again due to Covid on the 7th January 2022- possible restart on 28th January 2022

 Regretably Club Ashfield & thus the Bridge City Jazz Band will not open on Friday 7th January 2022.....

Friday 28th January is tenuous at this stage as a re-start.

The Club CEO has Covid & they are short handed 6 staff.....

So the gig can't proceed.... bugger....
