Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....Club Ashfield is now open after the long lockdown ..... the Club has started jazz again & on Friday 25th Feb. 2022 we welcome George Washingmachine on jazz violin, Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano with Chris Gentle on drums...

 This coming Friday  25th February 2022 we  welcome back super jazz violinist George Washingmachine leading the band at Club Ashfield with Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano, and Chris Gentle  on the bands drum kit .....

They join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars....  Jack Wiard on reeds, Mike Hallam on trombone, Colin Davies on double Bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

After another year of no jazz it will be a great night of traditional jazz ....

 

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....

 This coming Friday  18th February 2022 was are having a commemoration of our late reed player, Colin Beal featuring tunes he loved to play.... we've leading the band   Paul Furniss, Geoff Power on trombone with Bradley Newman on the Club's grand piano, and Graham Hilgendorf  on the bands drum kit .....

They join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars....  Jack Wiard on reeds, Colin Davies on double Bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...
