The Canberra Duo are back....! And they will play with us this coming Friday 4th Octobert 2019...at Club Ashfield,  ....Tony Thomas on cornet lead, Ron Cook on piano, Chris Gentle on drums, .....they join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars  ...Colin Beal, reeds, Colin Davies double bass and Dennis Quinlan on banjo, Mike Hallam on trombone.

 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....

Paul Furniss on soprano saxophone will lead off the forthcoming night at Club Ashfield on Friday 27th  September 2019 with pianist Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano, and Joel Davis on drums all in the band with Bridge City regulars ..Colin Beal, reeds, Mike Hallam trombone, Colin Davies double bass and myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

This coming Friday 20th September 2019 at Club Ashfield, we've Dave Ridyard leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on soprano saxophone featuring another of his "Celebration of 1920's Jazz"...Robbie Mann's on the Club's grand piano, Jim Morrell  on drums,  .....linking up with the Bridge City JB regulars....
