Geoff Power is a great supporter of traditional jazz at Club Ashfield & a great jazz cornet player and leads the Bridge City Jazz Band on Friday 12th February 2021, with Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano, Joel Davis on drums & as our bass player is away, we've Stan Valacos on double bass.... they join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars ... Mike Hallam on trombone & vocals, Jack Wiard on reeds & myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo...
Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
