Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday 10th July 2015 we've another with Bill Dudley on cornet lead with Brad Newmanon the Club's grand piano and Mr smoothie, Joel Davis on drums....

The regular Bridge City Jazz Band make up the 7 piece for the night....Colin Davies on double bass, Colin Beal on reeds, John Bates on trombone/vocals and Dennis Quinlan on banjo....

 Club Ashfield is at 5 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights.... Best of all the admission is FREE....
