Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday 24th July 2015 we've Mike Hallam on tpt lead, Frank Watts on piano and Craig Lee on drums...

Mike Hallam is quite a musician...while he's to lead the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield this coming Friday evening, he's sure to have a trombone and harmonica with him...Frank Watts is on the Club's grand piano and Craig Lee on the drum kit and together with Bridge City Jazz band regulars, John Bates trombone and vocals, Colin Beal clarinet and alto sax, Colin Davies on double bass and Dennis Quinlan on banjo it will make for a great night of traditional jazz...

 Club Ashfield is at 5 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights.... Best of all the admission is FREE....
