Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday 4th July 2014, we've Bill Dudley on cornet lead, Gary Walford on piano and Joel Davis on drums....

With Bill Dudley having his regular Sunday gig cancelled by the venue's publican, Club Ashfield is the place to see this entertaining trumpet player perform, leading the Bridge City Jazz Band with a favourite piano player of his ( and ours...!), Gary Walford and Joel Davis back on the drum stool....
Club Ashfield is beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side in Charlotte Street, Ashfield with the gig starting at 7.30pm through to 10.30pm on the first floor in the bistro/function area.
Bill and the other special guests join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars this coming Friday 4th July 2014....Colin Davies on double bass, Colin Beal on reeds, myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo and John Bates on trombone/vocals....
