Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday 18th July 2014, we've super jazz violinist George Washingmachine leading the band with Gary Walford on the Club's grand piano and Joel Davis on drums....

George is back!!
George Washingmachine has played at Club Ashfield now on several occasions and the crowd love it....
This coming Friday 18th July he's back leading the Bridge City Jazz Band with Gary Walford on piano and Joel Davis on drums as our special guest.
With regulars, John Bates on trombone/vocals, Colin Beal on alto sax/clarinet, Colin Davies on double bass and myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo we make up a super Bridge City Jazz Band for you on the night.....

Club Ashfield...5 Charlotte Street, Ashfield, beside Ashfield Railway Station on the northern or Parramatta Road side...gig on the first floor in the bistro/function area, 7.30pm to 10.30pm...
