Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...this coming Friday 14th February 2014 sees Geoff Bull on trumpet lead, Gary Walford on piano, Graham Hilgendorf or drums and Cliff Parsons on banjo...

Following the super night we had last Friday with George Washingmachine, we've another cracker of a night for you at Club Ashfield..... the night will have a distinct New Orleans Jazz flavour... Geoff Bull on trumpet lead, Gary Walford on piano, Graham Hilgendorf on drums and replacing me for the night, Cliff Parsons on banjo.... the other three Bridge City regulars are  Colin Davies on double bass, Colin Beal on clarinet and alto saxophone and John Bates on trombone and vocals.....
Club Ashfield...5 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway Station on the northern/Parramatta Road side, up on the Club's first floor in the bistro/Function area and starting 7.30pm through to 10.30pm....
