Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...this coming Friday 7th March 2014 sees Australian Jazz icon, trumpeter Bob Barnard leads the band with Monique Lysiak on piano and Joel Davis on drums....

Bob Barnard comes from a family of musicians and the line continues with younger family members taking up the baton so to speak...Bob leads the Bridge City Jazz Band this Friday 7th March at Club Ashfield with Monique Lysiak on the Club's grand piano and Joel Davis in the drum seat ....

As usual the regular Bridge City JB members are there to make up the traditional 7 piece Jazz Band that Club Ashfield has become famous for.... John Bates on trombone and vocals, Colin Davies on double bass, Dennis Quinlan on banjo and Colin Beal on clarinet and saxophone.
