Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday 29th January we've Mike Hallam on trumpet lead, Bradley Newman on the Club's grand piano and Craig Lee on drums.....

Mike Hallam's back with the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield this Friday 29th January 2016 leading the band on trumpet and in the usual "sit-in" set will likely change to trombone...Bradley Newman is on the Club's grand piano with Craig Lee on the bands drum kit...they complement the usual Bridge city JB regulars, Colin Beal on reeds, Colin Davies on double bass, Dennis Quinlan on banjo and John Bates on trombone/vocals......
A great night of traditional jazz, super for dancing....come along...

 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
