Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday 22nd August 2014,we've Mike Hallam on trumpet lead and no doubt some trombone and harmonica...with David Stevens on piano and Craig Lee on drums...

Good to have Mike Hallam back with us at Club Ashfield leading the Bridge City Jazz Band this coming Friday 22nd August and we've David Stevens back to play the Club's grand piano....Mike's stepson, Craig Lee  is with us on drums...
The usual Bridge City regulars complement the guests...Colin Davies, double bass; Colin Beal on reeds; John Bates on trombone/vocals and Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

5 Charlotte St., Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway Station on the northern side.
Gig up in the bistro/function area on the first floor of the Club...7.30pm to 10.30pm.
