Bill has his own Jazz Band, The New Orleanians and has had Sunday afternoon gigs in hotels for many years. Recently with new ownership the pub he was playing at decided they didn't need live music so Bill was "footloose and fancy free"...but he's just telephoned to tell us he back in business again starting Sunday 24th August at the Three Aces Bar, cnr Campbell and Elizabeth Sts in Surrey Hills, near Central Railway...3-6pm...
The special guests just mentioned join the regular Bridge City Jazz Band personnel, John Bates, trombone/vocals; Colin Beal, clarinet and alto saxophone; Colin Davies, double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

Where is Club Ashfield....?
5 Charlotte St., Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway Station on the northern side.
Gig up in the bistro/function area on the first floor of the Club...7.30pm to 10.30pm.
