Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday 1st August 2014,sees Kym Till back leading the band on trumpet with Bradley Newman on the Club's grand piano and Jim Morrell on drums....

Kym Till is known for his role as a jazz pianist, but we also hire him to lead the Bridge City Jazz Band on trumpet...he's a dab hand with this....
We're happy to have young Bradley Newman on Club Ashfield's grand piano with evergreen Jim Morrell on the drum kit....
Always a great night of traditional jazz with the dixieland flavour....
The regular Bridge city Jazz Band guys are joining the special guests to make a swinging 7 piece band...
John Bates, trombone and vocals; Colin Beal on clarinet and alto saxophone; Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo....
Future special guests with the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield, and other BCJB gigs...
Where is Club Ashfield??
On the northern or Parramatta road side of Ashfield Railway Station in Charlotte Street...the gig's in the bistro/function area on the first floor, admission free and the night goes from 7.30pm to 10.30pm...
