Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...this coming Friday 24th January 2014 sees Kym Till on trumpet lead the band with Peter Locke on piano and Joel Davis on drums.....

Kym Till is known for is great jazz piano playing as well as on trumpet and we're pleased to have him lead the Bridge City Jazz Band this coming Friday 24th January 2014 at Club Ashfield....5 Charlotte Street, Ashfield in the first floor bistro/function at 7.30pm to 10.30pm....
We've Peter Locke on piano and he plays a little trumpet, so in the second set we'll likely do a swap with Kym on piano and Peter on trumpet for a couple of numbers....
Welcome back to Joel on drums and the usual Bridge City Jazz Band members are there....John Bates, trombone/vocals, Colin Davies on double bass, Colin Beal on reeds and Dennis Quinlan on banjo....
