Live traditional, danceable Jazz in Sydney....!! Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...this coming Friday 31st May sees the band led by Bob Barnard, who've we've not had for over a year...Monique Lysiak will be on piano and Lawrie Thompson on drums...a super night shaping up......

We've not had Bob Barnard at Club Ashfield with the Bridge City Jazz Band for over a year and so the coming Friday 31st May should be a cracker...the band led by the foremost traditional jazz trumpeter in Australia.....

On piano at late notice is Monique Lysiak who is a frequent visitor to the band...

And super drummer Lawrie Thompson makes out the third of our special guests on the night....

 

 And the other members of the Bridge City Jazz Band on the night are the regulars....

John Bates on trombone and vocals, Colin Beal on reeds, Colin Davies on double Bass and Dennis Quinlan on banjo.....

The gig starts at our usual time...7.30pm to 10.30pm in the first floor bistro/function area of the Club....which is right beside Ashfield Railway station   in Charlotte Street.....
