Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday 12th February we've that great New Orleans Jazz exponent Geoff Bull on trumpet lead with Gary Walford on the Club's grand piano and Chris Gentle on the drum stool....

Geoff Bull has been playing jazz in the New Orleans style "forever" it seems and its great to have him back at Club Ashfield this coming Friday 12th February 2016 with Gary Walford on piano and Chris Gentle on drums.....
A smooth, swinging night of jazz is assured...get yourself up to the Club and enjoy it....
The Bridge City JB regulars, John Bates on trombone/vocals, Colin Beal on reeds, Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo make up the 7 piece band....

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
Best of all the admission is FREE....

Future special guests with the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield and other BCJB future gigs...
