Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and these next two Fridays, 26th December 2014 and the 2nd January 2015 we wont be playing over this Christmas period so there is no jazz those nights...

The core of the Bridge City Jazz Band....Colin Beal on reeds, Colin Davies on double bass, John Bates on trombone and vocals and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo.....

Over the Christmas New Year period we will not be playing at Club Ashfield and so there is no traditional jazz on the Fridays...26th December 2014 and the 2nd January 2015...
But we are back on Friday 9th January 2015 with special guests, Bill Dudley on cornet and vocals, Bradley Newman on the Club's grand piano and Jim Morrell on drums....
