Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday 5th December 2014...we've Geoff Power with us leading on trumpet, Peter Locke on piano and Joel Davis on drums...nice line-up!

Geoff Power's a multi instrumentalist, Sydney band leader and likes to lead the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield which he is doing this coming Friday 5th December 2014 with a pianist he likes to have accompany him, Peter Locke and tasty drummer Joel Davis...all joining with the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars, myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo, John Bates on trombone, Colin Beal on alto saxophone and clarinet and Colin Davies on double bass...
As usual will be a swinging night of traditional jazz.....

Club Ashfield is at 5 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
Best of all the admission is FREE....
