Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...this coming Friday 4th April 2014 sees Paul Furniss leading the band on Soprano Saxophone and other reeds with Monique Lysiak on piano and Graham Hilgendorf on drums.....

It's always a pleasure to have one of Australia's finest reed players lead the Bridge City Jazz Band ...Paul Furniss is the man this coming Friday 4th April 2014 with Monique..."unique Monique"..Lysiak on the Club's grand piano and renowned drummer Graham Hilgendorf as the special guest with the regular Bridge City Jazz Band personnel....Colin Davies, double bass; Colin Beal, reeds; John Bates trombone and vocals and Dennis Quinlan on banjo....
