Live traditional Jazz in Sydney....Club Ashfield is THE venue in Sydney for live traditional jazz....The Bridge City Jazz Band with special guests are the resident band and this coming Friday 1st February 2013, we've Geoff Bull back leading the band with some new, for us, exciting young players....

This coming Friday at Club Ashfield introduces some new younger musical talent into the Bridge City Jazz Band's traditional jazz lineup....
Club Ashfield, 5 Charlotte Street, Ashfield, beside the Ashfield Railway station...in the first floor Club bistro/function area...7.30pm to 10.30pm and admission is free...
Geoff Bull a regular trumpet player leading the band as invited several of his fellow player from The Cope Street Parade and Geoff Bull's Finer Cuts...bands of young player that Geoff has under his wing, introducing them to New Orleans traditional Jazz.
Harry Sutherland is on the Club's grand piano and Ross Ferraro on the drum kit...unfortunately I've no photo of Ross for this post....
Our regular band members...Colin Beal on reeds, John Bates on trombone, Colin Davies on double bass and myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo make up the seven piece band....
