Geoff Power is one of the busiest musicians around Sydney and it's a treat for us to have him come to lead the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield ( see further down this post for details) and have "unique" Monique Lysiak accompany him on piano.
Graham Hilgendorf has been overseas and just returned...he'll play drums for us as the other special guest....
Regular Bridge City Jazz Band members John Bates on trombone and vocals, Colin Beal, clarinet and alto saxophone, myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo and returning from Puhket, Colin Davies on double bass make up the band....
Always well prepared, Geoff has charts for the special tunes he often plays and the sound is swinging and tight....
