Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....Club Ashfield is now open after the long lockdown ..... and on Friday 26th August 2022 we have Geoff Power on trumpet lead, Tony Gardiner on piano & Joel Davis on drums...

  This coming Friday 26th August 2022 at Club Ashfield .... we've leading the band   Geoff Power on trumpet lead,  with Tony Gardiner on the Club's grand piano and Joel Davis on drums .....

 They join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars....  Mike Hallam on trombone, Colin Davies on double bass, Jack Wiard on reeds,  and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

A great night of traditional jazz...

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
