Paul Furniss leads the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield this coming Friday 9th April 2021& he and the bands reed player, Jack Wiard are sure to play some great duets with other special guests Peter Locke on piano for the first time since the Covid closure last year & Jim Morrell on drums.....
They join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars, Jack Wiard on reeds, Mike Hallam on trombone, Colin Davies on double bass & myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo....
Dancing is back....for the first time since the closure in March 2020....
Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
