Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 31st May 2019 welcomes Dave Ridyard on soprano sax with his "Celebration of 1920's jazz" with Robbie Mann on piano and Jim Morrell on drums......

This coming Friday 31st May 2019 at Club Ashfield, we've Dave Ridyard leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on soprano saxophone featuring another of his "Celebration of 1920's Jazz"...Robbie Mann's on the Club's grand piano, Jim Morrell  on drums,  .....linking up with the Bridge City JB regulars.... Mike Hallam on trombone, Colin Beal on reeds with Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo.........
It's Colin Davies last night with us until 26th July, with Colin overseas with his wife Marion.
You'll be assured of a great night of traditional jazz....













 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....


 Friday 31st May..at Club Ashfield, 12noon to 5pm several house before the Brdge City JBB performs, is a musical wake for the jazz pianist who has played for us in the past...the late David Stevens...
