Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 10th May 2019 sees Zach Raffen on trumpet from Canberra with Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano, Geoff Power on trombone and LawrieThompson on drums...

So this coming Friday 10th May 2019 sees us with two special guests at Club Ashfield to complement the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars...both from Canberra...Zach Raffen on trumpet lead, Robbie Mann on piano and also as a special guests, Lawrie Thompson on drums & Geoff Power on trombone.... as mentioned the BCJB regulars.... Colin Davies on double bass, Colin Beal on reeds and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo....
Am sure we are in for a great night of traditional jazz...

  Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
