Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 6th July 2018 sees a great line-up with Dave Ridyard on soprano sax lead presenting another of his "Celebration of 1920's Jazz", with Peter Locke on piano, Al Davey on trombone, and Jim Morrell on drums...

This coming Friday 6th July 2018 at Club Ashfield, we've Dave Ridyard leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on soprano saxophone featuring another of his "Celebration of 1920's Jazz"...Peter Locke's on the Club's grand piano, Jim Morrell on drums Al Davey on sousaphone  and Al Davey on trombone- .....linking up with the Bridge City JB regulars.... Colin Beal on reeds and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo and Colin Davies on double bass.........
You'll be assured of a great night of traditional jazz....











  Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
