Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 6th April 2018 sees Simon Stribling on trumpet lead with Al Davey on trombone, David Stevens on the Club's grand piano and Lauri Lyster on the bands drum kit....

Good Friday was last week, the 30th March and Club Ashfield  was closed for 24 hours...apologies if you pooped along for some jazz as obviously we weren't there.....

Good to have for this coming Friday 6th April 2017 at Club Ashfield, Simon Stribling leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on trumpet with Al Davey on trombone, David Stevens on the Club's grand piano and Lauri Lyster on the bands drum set .....linking up with the Bridge City JB regulars.... Colin Beal on alto sax and clarinet, Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo....
You'll be assured of a great night of traditional jazz....

 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
