Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday the 3rd November 2017 see's our trombone player Mike Hallam on trumpet lead with Al Davey on trombone, Bradley Newman on piano, Paul Furniss on reeds , Cliff Parsons on banjo and Craig Lee on drums.....

Mike Hallam our regular trombone player is leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on trumpet this coming Friday 3rd November at Club Ashfield, with Bradley Newman on piano, Al Davey on trombone, Craig Lee on drums and with our clarinet player Colin Beal still laid up after a collarbone break, Pam Withnall is on reeds and as I'm in the UK, Cliff Parson's is on banjo....they join up with Colin Davies on double bass....

 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
