Unfortunately during this week our reed player, Colin Beal crashed his bicycle and sustained a broken collarbone and other injuries and will be "out of action" for some weeks....
Paul Furniss has stepped in to play reeds for us...on ya Paul!!

Future special guests with the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield and other BCJB future gigs...
Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway
station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in
the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant
serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
As mentioned above we are playing as the same band structure....The Black Mountain and Bridge City Jazz Band at "The Pines", Old Northern Road, Dural...the road to Wiseman's Ferry. Some 200 meters on the left after you pass through Dural....
With Colin Beal on the sick list, as mentioned above, Pam Withnall is on reeds for us....
There is an admission charge, they provide tables and chairs under the huge old pine trees...there is in the Information Building tea/coffee and cakes for sale.
You need to bring your picnic lunch and drinks....
Music starts 12.30pm to 4pm....
The venue is WEATHER DEPENDENT...they usually cancel around 10am if the venue is under rain....
