James Power is leading the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield this coming Friday 16th June 2017 with the other special guests...Monique Lysiak on the Club's grand piano, Pam Withnall on reeds and Joel Davis on drums... joining the Bridge City JB regulars, Mike Hallam on trombone, Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

  Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....

  Can now confirm we've a "wake" to play for th late John Bates... Sat. afternoon 8th July2017 at Club Ashfield.....more news shortly...
