Live traditional Jazz in Sydney!!!....Club Ashfield provides it every Friday night... Geoff Power returns this coming Friday 2nd March 2012 leading the Bridge City Jazz Band with Andrew Kitchen on piano and Neil "Chauncey" Macbeth on drums.

Geoff Power is a great jazz multi instrumentalist who apart from running his own bands often leads others....
He's be a regular at Club Ashfield now for many years and is one of our popular trumpet players...
This Friday, 2nd March, he's back as our guest band leader and we welcome for the first time, Andrew Kitchen to play piano on the Club's grand and evergreen and hugely popular Neil Macbeth is on drums....
The rest of the Bridge City Jazz Band slot in with these great musos to provide a super nights entertainment...
Colin Beal on clarinet and alto saxophone, Colin Davies on double bass, John Bates on trombone and vocals and Dennis Quinlan on banjo.
We start at the usual time...7.30pm to 10.30pm in the bistro/function area of Club Ashfield, easily accessible by train, with the Club some 30 metres from the station on the north side...the Club's carpark is not much further away.
