Jazz in Sydney ....Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield Friday 24th June 2011...

English trumpet player Chas.McDevitt...well he seems pretty domiciled in Sydney now with a great young family...leads the Bridge City Jazz band with the occasional vocal on this coming Friday 24th June 2011 at Club Ashfield....
Last week Kym Till was on trumpet lead, but his week Kym will fill the piano chair...a great jazz pianist and we're always keen to have him back.
Popular Sydney drummer Graham Hilgendorf  makes up the three special guests on the night to complete the band with the usual Bridge City JB members...John Bates on trombone and vocals, Colin Beal, clarinet and alto saxophone, back from the Merimbula Jazz Festival.
Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo make up the rhythm section....
