Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band......... and on Friday 17th March 2023, at Club Ashfield is St. Patrick's Day & we have Mike Hallam on trumpet lead , Eric Gibbons on trombone with Bradley Newman on the Club's grand piano & Graham Hilgendorf on drums....

 

This coming Friday 17th March 2023 which is St. Patrick’s Day at the Club... for the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield we have Mike Hallam playing trumpet lead, Eric Gibbons on trombone with  Bradley Newman on the Club's grand piano and Graham Hilgendorf on drums...

They join the Bridge City JB regulars.... Jack Wiard on reeds, Colin Davies & myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo .

A great night of traditional jazz for 2023....

And.... we'll be playing some Irish songs.....

 

 

Future special guests with the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield & other venues....

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
