Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....Club Ashfield is now open after the long lockdowns ..... and on Friday 7th October 2022 we have Al Davey on trumpet lead, Robbie Mann on piano, Paul Furniss on reeds, Geoff Allen on drums...

 

 This coming Friday 7th October 2022 at Club Ashfield .... we've leading the band   Al Davey on trumpet lead,  Paul Furniss on  reeds,  with Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano,  and Geoff Allen on drums....

 They join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars....   Mike Hallam on trombone, Colin Davies on double bass, and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo... Jack Wiard is away.... 

A great night of traditional jazz... 

 

 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
