Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....Club Ashfield is now open after the long lockdowns ..... and on Friday 23rd September 2022 we have Mike Hallam on trumpet lead with Al Davey on trombone, David Ridyard on reeds, Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano & Jim Fletcher on the bands drumkit...

 This coming Friday 23rd September 2022 at Club Ashfield .... we've leading the band   Mike Hallam on trumpet lead, Al Davey on trombone, David Ridyard on  reeds,  with Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano,  and Jim Fletcher on drums

 They join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars....   Colin Davies on double bass, and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo... Jack Wiard is away....

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
