Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....Club Ashfield is now open after the long lockdown ..... and on Friday 1st July 2022 we have Bruce Johnson on trumpet lead, Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano, Paul Furniss on reeds & Geoff Allen on the bands drumkit...

  This coming Friday 1st  July 2022 .... we've leading the band   Bruce Johnson on trumpet lead,  with Robbie Mann on the Club's grand piano, Paul Furniss on reeds due to Jack Wiard off with Covid and Geoff Allen on drums .....

 They join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars....  Mike Hallem on trombone, Colin Davies on double Bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

A great night of traditional jazz...

 

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
