Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....Club Ashfield is now open after the long lockdown ..... the Club has started jazz again & on Friday 11th Feb. 2022 with Mike Hallam on trumpet lead, Bradley Newman on the Club's grand piano, Al Davey on trombone & Craig Lee on drums...

 Well Club Ashfield re-opened for Jazz last Friday and this coming Friday  11th February 2022.... we've leading the band   Mike Hallam, Al Davey on trombone with Bradley Newman on the Club's grand piano, and Craig Lee on the bands drum kit .....

They join the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars....  Jack Wiard on reeds, Colin Davies on double Bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

After another year of no jazz it will be a great night of traditional jazz....

 

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
