Club Ashfield open again for Trad. Jazz with the Bridge City Jazz Band ..... this coming Friday 11th June 2021 has Paul Furniss on soprano sax, Carolyn Packer on the Club's grand piano, Stan Valacos on double bass & Jim Fletcher on the drums....

Paul Furniss is always popular leading the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield & he's back this coming Queen's Birthday long weekend on Friday 11th June 2021.....with him as special guests are Carolyn Packer on piano, Stan Valacos on double bass ( our regular bass player Colin is away ) and on the bands drum kit is Jim Fletcher .... all joining the Bridge City JB regulars.... Mike Hallam on trombone, Jack Wiard on reeds & myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Grand Stella Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
