Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 15th November 2019 has Mike Hallam our usual trombone player on trumpet lead, Gordon Brown on piano, Rod Herbert on trombone and Craig Lee on drums...

Mike Hallam moves  on to trumpet lead for this coming Bridge City Jazz Band gig at Club Ashfield on Friday 15th November 2019, Gordon Brown on piano, Rod Herbert on trombone and Craig Lee on drums....
They join the regular Bridge City Jazz Band members... Colin Beal on reeds, Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo
Mike's on his favourite instrument so expect a great night...! 

Gordon on piano, also plays banjo, but is on piano tonight...

Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on most Jazz nights....
