Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 18th October 2019 has young James Power on trumpet lead, from Canberra Ron Cook on piano, Geoff Power on trombone and Chris Gentle on drums...

Welcome back to a youthful James Power taking the lead with the Bridge City Jazz Band at Club Ashfield this coming Friday 18th  October 2019 ... from Canberra, Ron Cook  is on the Club's grand piano, Geoff Power on trombone and Chris Gentle is manning the drum stool, they join the BCJB regulars Colin Beal, reeds..Colin Davies, double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo....
A great night of traditional jazz is assured....

 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights.... 





 As well, the Sunday 20th October sees The band with Tony Thomas on trumpet and Mike Hallam on trombone play at The Pines at Dural...
12.30pm to 4pm...there is an admission charge for the gig....
