Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 14th December 2018 we welcome back Dave Ridyard on soprano sax lead with Bradley Newman on the Club grand piano and Jim Morrell on the drum kit....

This coming Friday 14th December 2018 at Club Ashfield, we've Dave Ridyard leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on soprano saxophone featuring another of his "Celebration of 1920's Jazz"...Brad Newman's on the Club's grand piano, Jim Morrell on drums   .....linking up with the Bridge City JB regulars.... Mike Hallam on trombone, Colin Beal on reeds, Colin Davies on double bass and myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo.........

  Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
