Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 12th October 2018 we've Mike Hallam on trumpet lead, Bradley Newman on the Club's grand piano, Eric Gibbons on trombone, Cliff Parsons on banjo and Jim Morrell on drums...

Mike Hallam's moved from the trombone stool this week to trumpet lead at Club Ashfield's Bridge City Jazz Band gig this Friday 12th October 2018 with other special guests Eric Gibbons on trombone, Bradley Newman on piano, Cliff Parsons on banjo ( DQs on a Velocette motorcycle rally for a week at Lennox Head) and Jim Morrell on drums...they join the Bridge City JB regulars Colin Beal on reeds and Colin Davies on double bass....
Great night of traditional jazz shaping up....

 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz night..
