Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday ...and this coming Friday the 15th June 2018 sees Bruce Johnson back with us on trumpet lead with Monique Lysiak on piano,Geoff Power on trombone and Al Davey on the drum stool...

Bruce Johnson is our trumpet lead for the night at Club Ashfield....welcome Bruce, with Monique Lysiak on the Club's grand piano, Geoff Power  on trombone, and  Al Davey on drums....together with the Bridge City Jazz Band regulars Colin Davies on double bass, myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo,  and  Colin Beal on alto sax and clarinet.
All we need is your good selves and the night will be a swinging one of traditional jazz....

  Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....
