Welcome to Sydney's traditional jazz scene...live jazz in Sydney......Club Ashfield is the venue and with its long residency, The Bridge City Jazz Band is the band....a nominal 4 piece we have three special guests each Friday taking the band up to a 7 piece swinging trad.jazz band...and this coming Friday the 22nd December 2017 we've another Celebration of 1920's Jazz, part 11 with Dave Ridyard on soprano sax lead, Carolyn Packer on piano, Harry Harman OAM on bass and Jim Morrell on drums....

This coming Friday 22nd  December 2017 at Club Ashfield,is the last Jazz gig for the year for the Bridge City JB and we've Dave Ridyard leading the  Band on soprano saxophone featuring another of his "Celebration of 1920's Jazz"...Carolyn Packer's on the Club's grand piano, Jim Morrell on drums and Harry Harman OAM on double bass with our regular bass player Colin Davies off on Christmas holidays in Tasmania- .....linking up with the Bridge City JB regulars.... myself, Dennis Quinlan on banjo...Colin Beal on reeds and Mike Hallam on trombone.

 Club Ashfield is at 1-11 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway station on the northern side and the gig is up on the first floor in the bistro/Charlotte Room function area from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with the restaurant serving nice food until 9pm.....I always eat there on Jazz nights....

 THIS IS THE LAST GIG FOR THE YEAR FOR THE BRIDGE CITY JAZZ BAND AT CLUB ASHFIELD....
